For the first twenty years of activity, 1986-2006, of Francesco Ferretti, the famous collector and authorized dealer in Montecatini Terme (Tuscany), the Officine Panerai of Milan have realized two limited serials, Limited Edition 2006, of 20 units each, based on the Radiomir (Base), Pam 210 and on the Luminor Marina, Pam 111, both based from the historic collection, as follows:
- Pam 247, Radiomir (Base), OP 6674 45mm polished steel case, hand-wound movement OP X cal., 300 m and black -sandwich- dial. Leather strap, ardillon buckle and covered case-back, alls pesonalized with the written 1986-2006 and the logo of Ferretti (a pyramid) engraved.
Available in 20 units, as from July, 1st 2006, at 4,800.00 Euro;
- Pam 248, Luminor Marina, OP 6617 44mm polished steel case, hand-wound movement OP XI cal. with the Cosc certificate, 300 m and black -sandwich- dial. Leather and rubber straps, ardillon buckle and covered case-back, alls personalized with the written 1986-2006 and the logo of Ferretti (a pyramid) engraved.
Available in 20 units, as from July, 1st 2006, at 4,800.00 Euro.
The special box contain also: a) Watch: Luminor Marina or Radiomir (Base), with box, booklet and the international warranty;
b) Additional leather strap, with brushed steel buckle and case-back, personalized by Ferretti;
c) Leather belt, with brushed steel buckle, personalized by Ferretti;
d) Leather watch-holder case, for watch, strap, screwdriver and ball pen, personalized by Ferretti; (P. S: Quiet! This fake Luminor has been utilized only for testing the right size of the pocket of the case...)
e) Italian photographic book (not on sale in the library) -Gruppo Incursori tra passato e presente. Progenitori ed Eredi dei mezzi d'assalto della Marina Militare-, about the history of the Commandos of the Italian Navy, written just by two Italian Frogmen of the past.
Of course both the watches, belonging to the historic collection, will be accepted by us for (see Allowed References to the Club) the registration to the Club.
According us, are interesting and collectable units, also because, for the first time, the Radiomir (Base) is now available with the covered case-back...
