Comments of the Club Panerai:

After the nice exhibition in Florence, our wait for the new models was not -full- like in the past years, but, except the new and interesting three calibres in-house (with the relative and interesting new models), we were waiting almost for an "historic" Special Edition, like the Luminor 1950 47mm (Base) or the Radiomir "horn loops" 47mm (type Vintage ref. 6154). We have appreciated the new Regatta 2007, also this year again issued with the nice 1950's Luminor Chrono 44mm case, but, especially, the new Radiomir Chrono 45mm (cool!) this time finally without Flyback/Rattrapante/Split Seconds/Foudrayante complication: so our wallet is happy!

Even if was missing in the catalogue, we don't understand the new Radiomir Black Seal Aut. 45mm, (a revival of the Radiomir Aut. 42mm of some years ago produced only for one year?) and, moreover, we don't like only the -Maiale- on the dial in the new Radiomir Black Seal 45mm with the Ceramic case (very militar). Very interesting is the new Luminor Submersible 47mm with the (Quartz) Depth-Gauge, a perfect partner for the Compass, introduced in the 2004.

Very interesting and cools are also the two new nautical instruments: a perfect relationship among the historic tradition of the O. Panerai and the Sea...

P. S: For the 150th anniversary of the O. Panerai (1860-2010), we suggest a Special Edition of the (Chrono) Mare Nostrum 47mm (1943 units with steel case and 150 units with the white gold case), but, overall, a commemorative stamp issued from the Italian Postal Service that will be included in the box of every watch, of the same S. E., for that year. We'll see...
