All the news about the new 2008 Panerai's Collection, introduced at the SIHH 2008 in Geneva:
- Historic Collection (Any news):
Only the PAM 292 Radiomir Black Seal, 45mm ceramic case, finally..., is now without the -maiale- (pig) on the dial at 6 o'clock.
- Contemporary Collection:
- PAM 297 Luminor GMT aut. 44mm, brushed steel case, cal. OP VIII, black dial and polished-brushed steel (new) bracelet;
- PAM 299 Luminor Marina aut. 44mm, brushed steel case, cal. OP III, black dial and polished-brushed steel (new) bracelet;
- PAM 310 Luminor Chrono 40mm, brushed steel-case, cal. OP XVI hand-wound, black dial and alligator strap.
- Manifattura Collection:

Comment of the Club Panerai, about the new models 2008:
Starting from the Special Edition Collection, according us is very nice the new Radiomir Titanium, with the new Minerva's in-house mvt., as well as, even if we don't understand the reason to make again the -old- ref., the Pam 026, the new Luminor Marina Left-Handed, very -military- styled in this Pvd/Dlc steel case version and the black leather strap, even if, according us, with the ceramic or the titanium case would be better, also for the scratches. The new Luminor 1950 Submersible/Depth-Gauge -Panagea- is interesting, but, according us, the rubber strap is not ok, it looks like a -cheap stuff- styled. The same, ever referred to the rubber strap, is valid also for the new (nice) Luminor Chrono -Regatta 2008-, even if we'll have preferred the same -goldened- hands of the Radiomir Titanium. The models of the Manifattura Collection are ever interesting, especially the new Luminor 1950 Chrono Monopusher GMT in ceramic, also this one very -military- styled. In the Contemporary Collection, the new bracelet might be more practical, but has losts the personality of the previous model (according us, it was very nice). Unfortunately, any new models in the Historic Collection, but all of us (passionates and collectors) are still waiting for the new Luminor 1950 -Base- 47mm and the new Chrono Mare Nostrum. Probably we would have to wait for the 2010, when will be the 150th anniversary of the Officine Panerai (Firenze 1860)?
