With the occasion, the President of the Society, Vittorio Volpi, has given
the copy of the project of the "Torpedine Semovente"
(nicknamed "Mignatta/Leech"), ascribed to Paolucci and Rossetti, but in fact realised by
his father Giuseppe in the 1918 and of which here below we publish the first page.

We remember that Omeris Arpesella has been a "Gamma" Assault Swimmer, that
Emilio Bianchi has been a "Slow Speed Torpedoes (S.L.C.)", or "Maiali/Pigs" Operator (See cert.
No. 000/S.L.C.) (December, 18th 1941, Alexandria of Egypt, "G. A. 3" Operation,
on S.L.C. 221 with L. Durand De La Penne, Gold Medal, against the H.M.S.
"Valiant") and that Sergio Denti has been an "Explosive Motor Boat (M.T.M.)" Pilot
(April, 16/17th 1945, Ligure Sea, on M.T.M. 548 against the French Ship
"Trombe").
The regional dailies "Il Tirreno" and "La Nazione" have
